Lv. 1 -4 Early Stages (Up To Akarios Village)

Important Note: Gather Angelica in this area until you hit Gathering 12p.
Angelica gathering provides a nice amount of experience and is required for a quest in Akarios Village.



1. Speak with the NPC next to you and he will give you your first quest: Lv. 1 Sleeping on the Job
2. Sleeping on the Job will take you to Mires, just down the road, to start the next quest Lv. 1 Kerubim Hunt. Kill the Striped Kerub to the West and return to Mires.
3. Mires will give you Lv. 2 Grain Thieves. The Grain Sacks are located where the Striped Kerub are. When you have gathered the Grain Sacks, return to Mires.
4. Mires will give you Lv. 2 Report to the Priest, which takes you Akarios Village. Along the way be sure to gather Angelica until you reach 12p (You’ll need 10 Angelica for the quest.) You will also see Kales, and he will have the quest Lv. 2 The Snuffler Headache.
5. The Snufflers are located right near Kales. After turning in the quest to him, continue to Akarios Village after receiving the quest Lv. 3 Kales’ Request.

Lv. 3 – 6 Akarios Village

Important Note: Buy your Spellbooks Early. Ie. If you are Level 3, buy your Level 5 Books as well.
Additionally, stock up on HP or MP potions as needed. Prevent extra trips back to town.

1. Upon entering Akarios Village you will be given Lv. 1 Mercenary Captain’s Call. Additionally you will have received the quest Lv. 3 A New Skill if you have reached level 3. Bind to the Obelisk here.
2. Turn in Report to the Priest. Polinia is located near the chapel. Polinia will give you Lv. 2 Collecting Angelica. Since you have already gathering the Angelica, you can turn it in right away. Turn in Lv. 3 Kales’ Request.
3. Turn in Mercenary Captain’s Call. This will unlock a few campaign quests:
* Lv. 3 The Kerub Threat
* Lv. 5 Request of the Elim
* Lv. 7 Illegal Logging
4. Gather the rest of the quests available:
* Lv. 3 Uno’s Ingredients
* Lv. 3 Abandoned Goods
5. Head out of the village (North-West) to start questing. If you are level 4 you will have access to Lv. 4 A Book For Namus as you leave Akarios Village.
6. Speak with Muranes regarding The Kerub Threat. He will ask you to kill Kerub just north of his location. Start killing Kerub. While killing Kerub and waiting for respawns, head over to Feira (West). She is on a dock overlooking Cliona Lake. She will give you Lv. 4 To Fish in Peace. Additionally, head to the Southern side of the lake and collect wine for Lv. 3 Abandoned Goods.
7. Complete Lv. 3 The Kerub Threat, Lv. 3 Abandoned Goods, Lv. 3 Uno’s Ingredients, and Lv. 4 To Fish in Peace. The Brax will sometimes drop an Ax that starts the quest Lv. 3 The Woodcutter’s Lost Ax. Make sure you are Level 5 (or close enough to level up from quests) and return to Akarios Village. Turn in your quests, pick-up Lv. 6 Pernos’ Robe and head back out of the village. Don’t forget level 7 and level 9 spellbooks.
8. Head North along the path. As you pass the farm on your right, pick-up Lv. 6 Light up the Night. End at Namus.

Lv. 6 – 10 Leading up to Ascension

1. Speak with Namus and turn in Lv. 4 A Book For Namus and Lv. 3 The Woodcutter’s Lost Ax if you have it. From this quest node, pick-up Lv. 4 Insomnia Medicine and Lv. 4 Mushroom Thief. Talk with Ampeis and Noah regarding Lv. 5 Request of the Elim.
2. Kill Two-Day Sparky and Everglade Sylphen. Head farther into the woods and kill Grove Abex and Short Bristle Mepigus. Awaken the Sleeping Elders and gather from Fruit Trees until you reach Gathering 15p. Specific locations are displayed in the quest guides. The Grove Abex may drop an item to start the quest Lv. 5 The Nymph’s Feathered Gown.
3. Return to Namus, Ampeis, and Noah. Turn in your quests. If you can, pick-up Lv. 6 A Taste of Namus’ Medicine. Head North along the path to Malponeh’s Campsite and bind to the Obelisk. Turn in Lv. 6 A Taste of Namus’ Medicine if you have it. Pick up Lv. 7 Oz’s Prayer Beads and Lv. 6 Mopping up Zaifs. Proceed East of the campsite and kill Dukaki Lumberjacks and Dukaki Woodcutters. Kill Zaifs on the opposite side of the campsite and turn in Lv. 6 Mopping up Zaifs quest. Do not leave the area until you are level 7.
4. Return to Malponeh’s Campsite and take the Flight Transport back to Akarios Village. Make sure you have an HP potion and your level 9 spellbooks. Turn in Pernos’ Robe and pick-up Lv. 7 Delivering Pernos’ Robe. Turn in Lv. 5 Request of the Elim. Pick-up Lv. 7 Ancient Cube. Walk to the farm outside of Akarios Village and turn in Light up the Night. Walk North and turn in Request of the Elim. Walk North and peak with Daminu for Request of the Elim. If you have The Nymph’s Feathered Gown, go West and pick-up the quest item. See the guide for details. Return Malponeh’s Campsite and pick up Lv. 8 Malponeh’s Mushroom Research.
5. Head to the East and go into the cave there. Kill Scar the Alpha Zaif in the cave and take the quest item. Head to the Agaric Spore Road and speak to Pernos. Pick up Lv. 7 Where’s Tutty. Kill Fearless Fungy for the quest Lv. 8 Malponeh’s Mushroom Research Turn in Lv. 7 Delivering Pernos’ Robe. Kill Three-Day Sparky and Pincer Head Sparkle for Lv. 7 Oz’s Prayer Beads. Return to Malponeh’s Campsite.
6. Turn in Lv. 8 Malponeh’s Mushroom Research, Lv. 7 Oz’s Prayer Beads. If you haven’t already, speak with Oz regarding Lv. 7 Illegal Logging and pick-up Lv. 8 Tula’s Music Box and Lv. 8 Neutralization from Tula. Head to the Kabarah Strip Mine.
7. The following quests have objectives in the Kabarah Strip Mine that must be completed at this stage. Please reference the quest guides for specific instructions.
* Lv. 7 Illegal Logging: Kill Dukaki
* Lv. 7 Where’s Tutty: Find Tutty
* Lv. 7 Ancient Cube: Find the Cube
* Lv. 8 Tula’s Music Box: Mine Ore
* Lv. 8 Neutralization: Find the Cauldron
8. Return to the Agaric Spore Road and turn in Lv. 7 Where’s Tutty and Lv. 8 Neutralization. Kill Spore Shade Fungus on the Agaric Spore Road. Wander to the west and turn in Lv. 8 Tula’s Music Box to Poa. (Poa has additional quests which are presently not included in this guide since they are not necesssary to reach Acsension. If you find you are short on experience return to Poa.)
9. Return to Malponeh’s Campsite and turn in Lv. 7 Illegal Logging. Go back to the Kabarah Strip Mine and sabatoge the cauldron. Kill Tursin Overseers. Return to Malponeh’s Campsite and turn in Lv. 7 Illegal Logging and Lv. 8 Neutralization.
10. Take the Flight Transporter to Akarios Village. Turn in Lv. 7 Illegal Logging, Lv. 8 Neutralization, Lv. 7 Ancient Cube.If you are not level 9 return to Poa. If you are level 9 return to Pernos. Either way, fly back to Malponeh’s Campsite and travel to the Agaric Spore Road.
11. Please see the Ascension Quest Guide once you are level 9. After completing the Ascension quest, immediately take the offer to go To Sanctum. You cannot receive any additional experience until you have reached level 10. Reaching level 10 requires you to complete the Daeva’s Ceremony quest in Sanctum.
