@HeavenlySteps and i quote "Increases the threat generated by your Holy spells by 80%. Lasts until cancelled" hence wouldnt any holy spell cause additional threat? like a heal, or in this case sacred shield?

@SNLx2 You're right, except not. RF does increase the threat of your healing spells however sacred shield is not a healing spell, it is damage absorption, hence there is no threat that it creates to multiply. In fact the point that I was trying to make is that it actually causes you to deal less threat, since the best threat aura is Retribution and an absorption effect means that the NPC hitting you won't take damage from ret aura ergo they take no threat.

i really like to watch hobbs' videos and i do run people through instances sometimes, but i never felt that it was worth the time for experience. questing is so fast nowadays, i cant imagine that running instances would be faster.

@SNLx2 Sacred shield doesn't do damage, hence there is no agro to boost through RF. He doesn't use it because it absorbs damage which means Ret aura and thorns (if he has it) won't deal damage since the incoming hit was absorbed and so wont cause agro.

why not use sacred shield when power lvlin? its a holy spell and with the 80% added threat done by holy spells it helps alot wit aggro
